DESCRIPTION: I hesitated to put up this photo, but it was taken in 1971 (pre-Jaws.) It was an accidental catch by a fishing trawler in shallow water near Channel Islands Harbor that caused a great commotion.
I do not condone the wanton killing of sharks.
