DESCRIPTION: (Santa Barbara Channel, CA)
*Note, Returning from Anacapa Island in my boat a long time ago (1967) , I saw ahead of me, this big fish jumping clear of the water. I slowed, grabbed my camera and was able to get one lucky shot off before it stopped. Since, I've been told, that although rare, this is not unusual behavior for Thresher Sharks.
