*Note, The owners of the La Jenelle were trying to sell it to the local harbor as a hotel, similar to the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA. In 1970, it was anchored offshore when a fierce N/W gale blew with 70+ knot winds. The ship dragged it's anchor and was blown ashore as I shot this photograph.
