DESCRIPTION: (Anacapa Island, California Channel Islands) *Note, Jack & I spent several days a week at Anacapa for quite a few months filming "Underwater California" for U.S. Divers in 1978. This was shot at one of my favorite dive sites on the back side, called "Coral Reef." The kelp forest here is magnificent and lush. The current although, does become difficult, so timing the diving here is imperative.
